We are selling our 1967 Pontiac Lemans, which we have owned for 22 years . We did a full frame off restoration when we first picked up the car.
The body and frame were both sand blasted on a rotisserie, prepped, primed and painted. The colour is Pontiac Artisan Green , painted in PPG water base paint and clear, then wet sanded and polished. Front and rear bumpers are painted gun metal matt grey. Hood and tail light panels are wrapped in a carbon fibre decal. The Lemans has a 1966 nose on it. All chrome is original on the car.
The Lemans is powered by a 1995 LT1, 5.7 litre that was installed in 2005 with 80000 km and a 1996 Borq-Warner T5 transmission. The engine was stripped down and rebuilt for a buddy and then we purchased it for the car. The engine may have 85000 km on it now.
Reason for selling, no time for it, too many other projects to try and complete. The Lemans sit in a heated garage more than it is driven. Time for a new home where someone can appreciate and enjoy this beautiful machine. The car is fun to drive , it is a 20 year old restoration, but still turns heads on the streets. There are some issues such as, paint scuffs, a little peeling at the rear glass, at the bottom of the sail panels. Drives fender lower section is in primer, will need paint. Please view pictures and video aattached.
