1964 PONTIAC GTO 389 CONVERTIBLE TRIBUTE, FACTORY A/C, 4 SPEED, PS
This GTO tribute is sexy! The paint is glossy in its factory color
Nocturne Blue code W, it really stands out against the white
convertible top and the white interior. Looking down both sides it
is straight. The trim, GTO scooped hood inserts and emblems are
bright and shiny. You will get compliments anywhere you go. The
white convertible top is very nice. The top rams, pump and hoses
were replaced. It rides on a set of 14x7 Rally 1 wheels wrapped in
a set of radial redline tires with factory spinner hubcaps. The
interior is a nice bright white. The door panels, armrests and
upholstery were all replaced. Carpets were replaced and it has
Pontiac reproduction floor mats. The dash area has been repainted.
It has a retro AM/FM cassette player and molded kick panel
speakers. It features a factory tachometer and all the gauges are
clear. There's also a gauge cluster mounted below the dash. In
between the bucket seats it has a factory 4 speed console with a
factory 4 speed shifter coming out of it. There are front and rear
seat belts also. When you think of a 1964 Pontiac engine
compartment- It has to have a tri-power and this one does! It sits
on top of a performance built 389 motor, casting number 9778789,
date code K104. The carbs were rebuilt and set up by an expert. It
also features a 4 core Harrison radiator with a clutch fan & proper
shroud, aluminum finned valve covers, upgraded dual master cylinder
and front power disc brakes. This beauty also has factory A/C that
blows cold! and power steering. Everything in the motor compartment
is very tidy and clean. The trunk compartment appears to be all
clean metal. It is nicely detailed with a light coat of black and
aqua spatter paint. It features a jack assembly and newer weather
stripping. The underside of the motor is clean as well as the
Muncie 4 speed manual transmission. The suspension has been
upgraded with Hotchkis sport suspension. The front end components
look good. There is a dual exhaust that runs all the way back with
splitter exhaust tips exiting out both sides. The floors are all
clean metal and appear to be original. The E-brake assembly is
complete and working. The new owner of this Pontiac will have a
great time! It has great colors and a convertible to top it off!
This is the ideal driver! A real head turner. Not a real GTO so the
price is affordable.
