What a sweetheart this one is! A very original example of a Virgil Exner design from 1956. Finished in Briar Rose and white. Took me a while to find signs of a repaint but it does appear there was a very old respray of the original colors. So old it looks original! The interior is super cool too and that's original. Check out the photos! It's sooooooo 1950's. Under the hood is a rebuilt poly 277 V8 and that's mated to a first year, 'Power-Flite' push button automatic transmission. That's been rebuilt also. We've completed a three step pain correction on the old repaint and it looks incredible with just enough patina to look like original paint. We installed BRAND NEW Coker Classic wide white wall tires also. That is a must on these cars! An extremely solid car with what seems to be the only area with body repair is in the left (and possibly the right.) rear doglegs. That's it from what we can find. Nice clean undercarriage and original trunk compartment. Yes, just 55,914 miles showing on the odometer and it shows every bit original. In the glove box resides the original 'Service Policy' from Chrysler showing the original owner and dealership, both from Floral Park, NY. That's on Long Island. Somehow, somewhat this car escaped the rigors of NY roads. A testament to it's loving care and low miles. This is just a fantastic driver. You will be the envy of the whole neighborhood and once again, they'll assume you paid much more. A nicely sorted, turn key classic.
