current owner in 1997. The previous owner of 20 years kept it in
the Towe Ford Museum in Sacramento, Ca., when not driving it. Prior
to that it was in Arizona. The car was purchased in 1997 with
87,300 miles and now has 104k miles. Wimbledon white exterior was
redone after the body was stripped to bare metal. Chrome trim is in
great shape.
The black vinyl interior is original with slight wear on the
drivers seat. The carpet was replaced. The black canvas convertible
top is new and works well. Lap belts for 5 passengers. The factory
gauges were replaced with more modern and accurate gauges
(originals included). Sport tonneau cover that covers the rear seat
for a more sporty look is easily removable. New stereo system with
Bluetooth has 6 speakers plus a powered subwoofer and amplifier.
Power antenna.
390 engine was rebuilt approx. 10k miles ago and the automatic
transmission was rebuilt approx. 3.5k miles ago. Front suspension
was rebuilt approx. 10k miles ago. Custom oversized aluminum
radiator, auxiliary fan and high output waterpump keep the car
running cool. Factory air conditioning has been upgraded to R134
and blows cold. Power steering and front disc brakes. The wire
wheels were disassembled, rechromed and rebuilt. Redline radial
tires. Factory fender skirts included.
Excellent driving car that gets a lot of attention. Clean
