Born for the track and legendary on the street, this Boss 302 combines styling, power, exceptional handling with desirable factory color and options. Refinished in it's original color of Calypso Coral, this Boss 302 is documented by a Marti Report, Original Invoice, buck/assembly tag and ownership history dating back to the early 1980s. Original options include: Shaker Ram Air, Sport Slats (Rear Window Louvers), 3.50 T-Lok Rear Gear, Tachometer, and Sport Deck/Fold Down Rear Seat. It has been upgraded with Factory Power Steering, Ford 15" Magnum 500 Wheels with correct F60-15 Polyglas Tires and Rear Deck Spoiler. The high-revving Boss 302 powerplant was reported to be the "original" motor to the car from the previous owner but does not have a VIN stamping, but is date code correct. It is shipped by it's RUG-AV "Wide Ratio" 4-Speed Manual Transmission mated to a freshly rebuilt 3.50 T-Lok Rear End. Boss 302 unique parts such as the D0ZF-Z Carburetor, C9ZF-E Distributor and D0ZE-E1 Radiator, Unique Shaker Ram-Air setup as well as the Smog/Emission and Rev Limiter are present.
The refinished Calypso Coral paint shows very well over what appears to be original body panels, with only minor repair to the commonly rusted lower quarter panels. The floors, torques, fender aprons, etc. are all solid original Ford metal. The undercarriage was undercoated early in the cars life and remains in original condition. The Interior is believed to be mostly original upholstery with the exception of the carpet and headliner which were replaced at some point. It is in good condition, but does show it's age in some spots, but there are no major issues. It is shifted by the iconic Hurst "T-Handle" and the high revs can be counted on the original tachometer. She shows 87,763 miles.
