This is a brand-new traditional-style build, just finished in the past two weeks, utilizing an all-steel body by Brookville. The steel body was lathered in a beautiful shade of paint called Wild Plum, which looks absolutely stellar on this Roadster. The windshield was chopped by 4-inches, Guide headlamps were installed up front, and 1937 Ford taillights were installed in the rear. The body was then mounted on a brand-new chassis by So-Cal Speed Shop, w/ features that include: So-Cal Speedshop 5” drop axle, mono-leaf wishbone front suspension, Aldan American coil-overs on the rear, Boling Brothers front brakes, Ford rear drum brakes, and a Currie 9” rear housing w/ 3.50 gears. She rolls on 16” chrome 1940-style steel wheels wrapped w/ Firestone Deluxe Champion bias-ply tires (7.00 x 16 on the rear & 4.50/4.75 x 16 up front). You can walk around this Roadster a hundred times and it looks perfect from every angle!
When you open the driver’s door, you will find a beautiful Napa leather interior done by Bruce Lee @ Perfect Stitch Upholstery in South Jordan, Utah. Interior features include: Glide Engineering seat wrapped in Napa leather, matching door panels w/ storage pouches, body-colored dash w/ NVU gauges (New Vintage USA), Lime Works steering column, 1950 Ford Crestliner steering wheel, 12” Lokar shifter w/ leather shift boot, and beautiful tan German square-weave carpeting throughout. Simple, clean and elegant.
Powering this beautiful ’32 Roadster is a brand-new, fuel-injected 355ci/390hp blueprinted & dyno-tested SBC crate motor, featuring 4-bolt main long block w/ 1-piece crankshaft seal, aluminum cylinder heads, hypereutectic pistons, blueprinted cast iron crankshaft, hydraulic roller camshaft, double roller timing chain set, Chevy heavy-beam connecting rods w/ 150,000 bolts, moly rings, brass freeze plugs, aluminum radiator, etc. The motor is nicely dressed w/ custom valve covers, chrome rams horn exhaust manifolds, and a finned billet air cleaner, which covers the Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection (EFI). The motor is linked to a 700R4 automatic transmission, which feeds power to the Currie 9” rear-end w/ 3.50 gears. She fires up instantly, settling into a nice smooth idle, and she runs & drives as good as she looks. If you do not like attention then this is not the car for you, because anywhere that you decide to go, there will be a crowd around the car snapping photos on their smartphones. It is truly a gorgeous Hot Rod. The new owner will receive a free & clear Utah title, where it is listed as a 1932 Ford Roadster, so insurance & registration will be no problem whatsoever.
