We're pleased to offer this beautiful, and vintage Land Rover Defender 110, refinished in a timeless Keswick Heritage restoration.
This Defender received a very extensive, and meticulous frame-off restoration. The Defender was stripped down to the frame, and the frame was completely sandblasted and any existing rust was professionally removed, in order to provide a rust-free frame for this Defender to live its new life on in the US! Once the frame was sandblasted and painted, we ordered new body panels, and the existing body panels were taken off of the vehicle. The body panels were painted in one of our favorite colors, Keswick Green, one of the Heritage Land Rover colors. The body of the Defender was painted in the paintbooth while the panels were in separate pieces in order to ensure a very high quality paint job.
We ordered new suspension for the Defender during the restoration process, in order to provide a more comfortable driving experience for the owner. The engine was then completely rebuilt to factory specifications with new engine internals, pistons, valves, cylinder head, seals, turbocharger, cooling system, injectors, radiator, and more. The transmission at this time was also rebuilt with new synchros and gears, and the clutch was replaced as well.
The braking system of the Defender was converted to disk brakes to provide better stopping power, and the steering components were also replaced.
The interior was completely reupholstered in a gorgeous caramel brown leather interior which compliments the vintage exterior perfectly. The interior was fitted with sound deadening material, which is tucked away under the carpeting of the interior. We then fitted the interior with modern creature comforts to make this Defender the ultimate daily driver Defender 110. The interior features modern upgrades such as power windows, power locks, air conditioning, bluetooth audio, back up camera, and more!
