2001 Jaguar XKR Convertible
This XKR came into the US in NYC, was sold out onto the long island and lived there for 4 years when it was sold to someone in CT. Owner 2 traded it in to MotorCars Inc. (owner 3) a privateer Jaguar dealer in Plainville, CT. They sold it to owner 4. Owner 4 traded it in, back to MotorCars Inc. (owner 5 this time) who then sold it to the current owner, owner 6, about 5 years ago.

The car has been well serviced, looks great. The Titanium paint (LGL code) has a slightly blueish tint in certain light, a very handsome color. There are a few rather small chips, as pointed out in the photos. She has 110,000 miles but all the foibles of an early XKR have been taken car of. The tensioners are metal, new chains, all new hoses under the hood, the convertible top pump and hoses have been serviced and the plastic water neck has been upgraded to metal. This work was performed by MotorCars.
The supercharged 4 litre pushes out nearly 400 horse and is known to behave well into the high mileage areas when well maintained. This car still pulls very nicely, handles great.
High performance Jaguar for pennies on the dollar.
As a Jaguar, of course, it has many creature comforts.
Leather interior (in Oatmeal - AGD), power tilt and telescope steering wheel, heated, power seats (3 way memory on the driver seat), AC (blows cool, not cold - in need of a charge), traction control, air bags, obviously PS, PB ( disc F&R), PW, PM, 18" aluminum wheels (some minor curb rub on three of them), power top, rain sensing, intermittent wipers, Alpine stereo, Navigation, Bluetooth, Valet mode, shiftable AT, burlwood dash and door inserts and more.
There is some minor wear on the driver bolster as would be expected, and two very slight cracks, that hardly show up on camera, on the shift handle and glove box burlwood.
Exterior - Great, Interior - Great, Under hood - Great, Under Carriage - Very good, can't say rust free as there are two spots starting on the leading, lower edge of the rear wheel wells. The Michelin Pilot Sport tires are dated 2016 and are still in good condition as they've been garaged and not exposed to UV. They are 245/45 ZR18 in front and 255/45 ZR18 in the back.
This is a great car, totally turn key and ready to enjoy for the rest of the driving season, no matter where you may be.
