The Kalahari Edition Land Rover 110 was a limited edition released in South Africa circa 2005-2006. It is powered by the 300Tdi turbo-diesel. It has no ABS, no traction control, minimal electronics beyond the immobiliser. It came with rubber mats, vinyl seats, winch-ready bull-bar, steel 'wolf' wheels and a factory air conditioner. As few as 150 units were produced at Solihull, UK and shipped to South Africa. Due to the reliability of the 300Tdi engine and it's rugged simplicity, it is considered a unique, rare and collectable Land rover.

We are the second owners following a fastidious retiree who was a Land Rover fanatic. It has been our trusty weekender/road trip vehicle and has been up close to the ‘Big five’ in Africa. She's named ‘Inyati’ (Buffalo) by an African Game Guard.
