Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass S
Convertible. This classic Olds droptop runs and drives very nicely,
but as you can see from the photos it needs some cosmetic TLC.
Trophy Blue metallic over blue interior with a white convertible
top. Paint is in poor condition, especially on the trunk lid. Both
the front and rear bumpers, however, are excellent (the chrome
finish is very good with no pitting, hazing or flaking and they are
straight with no dings or dents). Color-matched 15-inch rally
wheels in good condition are wearing BF Goodrich radials.
Interior is intact and presents to an acceptable driver standard,
aside from some damage to the passenger door panel. All gauges are
working (except for the clock), as are lights, wipers and original
radio. Convertible top is due for replacement, and is operable by
hand but the power top mechanism does not work.
Under the hood is an Oldsmobile 350 mated to a four-speed manual
transmission with a Hurst shifter. The engine is fed by a Holley
4-barrel carburetor with an electric choke; starts easily, runs
great and pulls strong. Clutch and gearbox feel good (and the
four-speed a nice performance upgrade from the automatic). Tracks
straight and stops straight.
With a paint job, a new convertible top, and some minor rust repair
underneath, this would be a gorgeous car. Offered at a price that
leaves plenty of room for the next owner's fix-up budget. For more
