Built by Nolasport, a team steeped in Porsche racing heritage and
renowned for delivering race-ready machines with championship DNA,
this 914/6 GT tribute is a rare blend of race-bred engineering and
vintage soul. Crafted for those who crave pure driver connection,
every throttle blip, gear shift, and turn ignites a visceral
response you can only experience from a lightweight, air-cooled
Porsche honed to perfection.
Originally a 1974 914/4, this car now features a 2.7-liter RS-spec
flat-six from a 1974 911S. The engine is equipped with 90 mm RS
pistons, S cams, Weber 46 carburetors, and 1.5-inch headers with
megaphone exhausts. Durable ARP hardware, Carrera chain tensioners,
and a Pertronix electronic ignition ensure reliable performance.
Oil cooling is handled by a front-mounted GT cooler with Aeroquip
plumbing and a Patrick Motorsports 914/6 oil system.
Stripped to a bare chassis and rebuilt with no compromises, this
Mexico Blue 914/6 GT pays homage to the spirit of Porsche
motorsport. Finished in basecoat/clearcoat Mexico Blue with
matching single-stage interior, it features factory steel GT
flares, Gulf Orange and Black lightweight fiberglass bumpers, and
authentic GT resin-and-balsa lightweight hood and rear decklid. The
body is fully reinforced with a chassis stiffening kit and equipped
with a Safety Devices roll cage for confidence on track.
The drivetrain features a rebuilt 901 gearbox with billet
differential cover and Patrick Motorsports shift rod feeding
Carrera 3.2 axles through billet flange adapters. Suspension is
fully upgraded with Carrera front struts, 23 mm torsion bars, rear
coilovers with Hypercoil springs, and Koni Sport adjustable shocks.
Braking duties are handled by Carrera front calipers and rotors,
PMB-restored 914/6 rears, stainless steel lines, and a 911 master
cylinder.
Inside the cockpit, purity and purpose reign supreme. A Recaro Pole
Position race seat with Schroth harness keeps the driver firmly
planted, while a Momo D-shape wheel and custom dash pod maximize
driver comfort and control. GT-style door panels with RS pulls
complete the interior. The car rides on 716 front and 816 rear
wheels wrapped in Toyo Proxes R1R tires.
Every component, from the authentic GT resin-and-balsa body panels
to the painstakingly rebuilt drivetrain, reflects obsessive
attention to detail and a commitment to racing purity. Ready to
tackle vintage races, spirited track days, or show-stopping events,
this 914/6 GT offers the rare chance to own a truly race-prepped,
lightweight Porsche that's as thrilling on the road as it is on the
track.
From the bark of the Weber-fed flat-six to the feeling of the
stiffened chassis delivering razor-sharp cornering, this car
demands to be driven hard and rewards with pure adrenaline. If you
want a Porsche that truly feels alive, this is the machine you've
been searching for.
