Believed to be all original with no restoration work, this 1979
Chevrolet Camaro Z28 features what appears to be its factory red
paint and iconic Z28 decals. The sleek body lines still look
excellent after all these years, showing the quality of the
original design. Factory T-tops allow for open sky driving while
maintaining the structural integrity of the cabin. The exterior is
completed by 15" wheels wrapped in 255/70R15 tires up front and
225/70R15 tires in the rear, giving it solid traction and a planted
stance on the road.
Carmine deluxe cloth makes up the remarkably well-kept interior,
which looks to have been meticulously maintained over the decades.
The bucket seats offer good support while remaining comfortable for
longer drives. A center console houses the automatic shifter for
easy gear changes. Power windows and locks add convenience, while
the tilt wheel allows drivers of any size to find their ideal
position. The original AM/FM radio with 8-track player remains in
place, ready to provide musical accompaniment during your
travels.
The original numbers-matching 350 V8 engine sits in a clean engine
bay that appears to have avoided aftermarket modifications. This V8
breathes through a single 4-barrel carburetor and exhales through a
factory dual exhaust system. A TH350 3-speed automatic transmission
handles gear changes while a 10-bolt rear end with 3.42 gears puts
power to the pavement. The suspension system uses coil springs with
shocks up front and leaf springs with shocks and sway bar in the
rear, plus air shocks for adjustability. Power steering and power
disc brakes complete the mechanical package.
