This 1930 Ford Pickup is a no-nonsense, all-steel hot rod built to
raise hell and look good doing it. Stretched 10 inches and
slathered in custom distressed paint, it's the kind of truck that
tells stories at every stoplight, without saying a word. Built by
Studleys Independent Rods, this chopped and channeled legend sports
a steel Drake bed with wood flooring, sitting low on steel wheels
with rings and caps for that old-school vibe.
Under the hood is a snarling 350ci V8 backed by a Cooks Racing
Turbo 350 transmission, funneling grunt through a Ford 9-inch rear
with 3.50 gears. Lake-style headers let this beast breathe fire
while keeping things period-correct and mean as hell. A set of rear
coilovers, power brakes, and four-wheel discs keep it under
control, even when the road begs you to misbehave.
Inside, it's far from bare bones. A full custom interior wraps
bucket seats, Dolphin gauges, and a tilt steering column in vintage
cool, while modern creature comforts like power windows and
aftermarket heat and A/C make it just as ready for cruise night as
it is for the burnout box.
With a bulletproof driveline, killer stance, and a body that's all
steel and zero compromise, this '30 Ford ain't your grandpa's farm
truck, unless he was the baddest dude in town. From garage queen to
street machine, this rod proves that pre-war pickups can still
punch above their weight class.
Own a slice of hot-rodding history with a truck that's got
attitude, craftsmanship, and enough edge to cut through the
crowd.
