Here we have a fantastic entry level Caddy with TONS of easy potential. Nice Calumet Cream paint with just minor imperfections. An older repaint but a high quality one. With a little more elbow grease and a buffing wheel, this car would totally pop. Original trim, chrome and fillers all in great shape overall. Unfortunately the collector we are consigning this car for lost his storage a couple of years ago and this car was left outside, under cover and not run during that time. We were tasked to revive the car and ready it for sale. I'm utterly amazed at how well this car bounced back after languishing for so long. The interior in particular is in absolutely OUTSTANDING original condition. IMMACULATE and it still smells new! One crack in the otherwise perfect steering wheel is about it. I wouldn't hesitate to eat off the carpet. Check out the pictures. I can't say enough. Under the hood is the big, 500 cubic inch V8. It came to life super easily, even with it's battery from 2020. I'd do some fluid changes and probably an easy Quadra Jet carburator rebuild (She stumbles some under load.). The car starts and idles incredibly well with no strange noises or smoke. Nothing of concern there. The undercarriage is clean and very presentable. Not detailed but easily could be. Again, nothing to concern yourself with there. The downsides are few but there are some. From it's outdoor storage it seems some moisture got under the top side of the vinyl top and has discolored the vinyl. It very much deserves to be replaced and the roof treated. There is no rot through, it appears completely superficial. Also, the A/C compressor has been removed (Owner says it seized several years ago.) and was not replaced. It's a simple and common A6 compressor, readily available everywhere. Also. the factory AM/FM 8 Track stereo is inoperable. All the power windows work flawlessly as does the power door locks, although the right rear one likes to be lazy once and a while. There is a 60/40 split front seat and the drivers side is powered. Only the rear tilt function does not work there. Lastly, I assume the tires are pretty old so I'd replace those too just because. So we are selling this car as is. We did what we did to help the seller who is in poor health. He decided not to invest anymore into it and sell at a reasonable price instead.
