Vehicle Description
Chassis No. WP0CF2A94KS172429
Speedster Limitation No. 1366/1948
As the final model of the 991 generation, the Porsche 911 Speedster
was a fitting tribute to the brand's 70th anniversary in 2018.
Paying homage to decades of Porsche heritage, the Speedster was
designed with purity of purpose-emphasizing simplicity, lightness,
and the thrill of open-air driving. Its design cues, including a
shortened windshield and a more tapered roofline, recall the iconic
Speedsters of the past, while the unmistakable 911 profile remains
intact. Limited to just 1,948 examples worldwide in honor of
Porsche's founding year, only 588 were destined for the U.S.
market-most reserved for members of the exclusive 918 Spyder
Circle.
Developed by Porsche's motorsport-focused GT division, the 991
Speedster shares its DNA with the GT3 and 911 R. At its heart is
the GT3's revered 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six, producing
503 horsepower and revving to an exhilarating 9,000 rpm. It's mated
exclusively to a six-speed GT Sport manual transmission-originally
developed for the 911 R-and sends power to the rear wheels. The
result is a visceral, analog driving experience that blends classic
Porsche spirit with modern track-honed performance.
Displaying just 58 miles on the odometer at the time of cataloging,
this well-optioned Speedster is finished in the stunning Paint to
Sample (PTS) shade of Signal Yellow, a hue created in 1966 for the
911 and 912 which remained highly popular throughout the early-911
era. Porsche's optional PTS program is offered through Porsche
Exclusive Manufaktur and remains a "must-have" for any modern
Porsche. While the exterior blends vintage and modern, the interior
features the majority of the customization. Half of the $40,920
spent on optional extras was devoted to interior upgrades,
including a Leather Interior in Black, Air Vent Surrounds Painted
and Air Vent Slats in Black Leather, Dashboard Trim Package in
Leather, Sun Visors in Leather, the Steering Column Casing in
Leather, Inner Door-Sill Guards in Leather, Center Console Sides in
Leather, all capped with the Extended Deviated Stitching Interior
Package. Additional interior options include BOSE Surround Sound
System, Light Design Package, Aluminum Pedals, Chrono Package,
Personalized Illuminated Door-Sill Guards in Carbon Fiber, and
Carbon Fiber Floor Mats. Furthermore, the car is enhanced with
Front Axle Lift, the 23.7-gallon Extended Range Fuel Tank, and LED
Headlights in Black with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS).
Offered with just 58 miles at the time of cataloging, this like-new
example comes furnished with its Signal Yellow keys, books, and its
original window sticker. Furthermore, the Speedster is accompanied
by a clean CARFAX Vehicle History Report, confirming it has been
retained by a single owner since new. In preparation for sale, this
Speedster has visited Beverly Hills Porsche for a recommended
maintenance to ensure peace of mind for its next caretaker. As the
final 991 generation 911 produced, the Speedster was a
well-deserved sendoff showcasing the best of what Porsche had to
offer in an engaging open-air driving experience imbued with
motorsport heritage.
