Racing pedigree flows through every curve of this genuine Shelby
GT350, number SFM5S433 - one of only 506 produced for 1965.
Designed with Pete Brock's unmistakable styling cues, this
Wimbledon White fastback wears the iconic blue painted Shelby
stripes running from nose to tail, just as they appeared when
rolling out of the Venice, California facility. The distinctive
GT350 profile sits perfectly over 15-inch wheels featuring Shelby
center caps with steel hoops and aluminum centers. Goodyear Power
Cushion HP tires sized at 7.75-15 grip the asphalt at all four
corners, giving this Shelby its purposeful stance.
Black velour bucket seats greet you inside this track-ready
interior, complete with racing lap harnesses for serious driving.
The clean, driver-focused layout maintains the pure racing DNA that
Phil Remington and the Shelby team engineered for SCCA competition.
A floor-mounted shifter puts the T10 4-speed transmission directly
into your control. The straightforward black interior creates an
all-business environment where every gauge and control serves a
clear purpose - exactly what you'd expect from a car built by Jim
Marietta and the Venice crew to dominate on both street and
track.
The 289 cubic inch Hi-Po V8 engine, believed to be the original
powerplant, generates impressive output through its single 4-barrel
Holley carburetor mounted on the "Cobra" cast intake manifold. The
distinctive sound comes courtesy of dual exhaust featuring Blue
Streak glasspack mufflers and Tri-Y long tube headers. Suspension
components include correct KONI shocks at all four corners, with
traction bars and safety cables supporting the 9-inch rear end.
Front disc brakes provide superior stopping power - all components
working together in the specialized package Shelby created for SCCA
domination.
