1966 Dodge Charger Factory Hemi
Florida car.
Here we have a real-deal 1966 Charger Hemi that has received a gorgeous restoration. It is one of just 468 Hemi Chargers built that year.
This Charger's body is all original, arrow-straight and rock-solid, as is the underside.
The high-quality respray was done in the correct Bright Red and all the chrome and stainless-steel trim has a brilliant shine.
The interior looks factory fresh as well and the electroluminescent instruments were restored.
Under the hood is a Barton Racing Engines-built 426 Hemi crate motor with a staggering output of 620 horsepower and a 630 pound-feet of torque.
The rebuilt 727 TorqueFlite automatic transmission features a manual valve body and it sends the power to a 3.23 Sure Grip rear end. The original 3.73 rear end is included.
Power steering and power front disc brakes (upgraded from front drums) add to the ease of wheeling this well-sorted icon around.
Note that the Charger comes with a spare tire and jack assembly, the ownership history and receipts of all the work that was performed over the past 25 years.
