Ford introduced the Galaxie 500 Fastback model half way through 1963. The pillarless rooftop, Glacier Blue color and custom rims give this classic a great look and stance. It has the 6.4L big block 390 pushing her down the road with the manual three on the tree. The motor runs out very strong, fires righty up cold with one pump of the gas and just purrs. The dual exhaust gives it just the right deep tone but not too loud where you can’t talk inside while underway. It rides very nice and the near perfect interior in a darker two-tone blue ties it all together.
This is a rust-free vehicle that the owner brought up from the Lake Havasu area. It has manual drum brakes all the way around and manual steering. This is a perfect opportunity to cruise like it is or venture into the restomods. All of the windows roll up and down smoothly, doors open and close as they should with clean lines across all panels and the trunk looks like new. Under the hood the valve covers are painted to match the exterior and the engine compartment is in very clean condition without prior owners cutting into wiring or adding aftermarket stereos. The original stereo is fully functional and lights up when turned on and even the clock is working and keeps accurate time which is rare. There are a few little items you can tackle as I mention in my walkaround and undercarriage videos. Have a look at all the content and let me know if you have any questions or need additional specifics.
