INTRODUCTION: Frame off show quality build! Top quality paint and
bodywork, with a fit and finish that will bring a tear to your eye.
The look, the colors, the stance, and reliability, this one has it
all!
EXTERIOR: Exceptional fit and finish! All the panels have been
meticulously aligned square and flush with nice and tight gaps that
rival a new Mercedes. The doors close easily like a new car.
Looking down the side of the 100% laser straight body is extremely
satisfying with its smooth contours and crisp lines. A gorgeous
combination of red and black paint was the perfect choice for this
car. The 2 stage paint job is polished to a mirror like finish and
was applied with expert precision. All the smoked glass is brand
new plus the rubber seals and fuzzy strips were replaced too. The
bumpers and abundant chrome trim is nice and straight with a
glorious shine. The front grille is spotless with aircraft inspired
adornments that speak for themselves. The reproduction T3
headlights look like new. I really like the fat polished exhaust
tips peeking out under the rear bumper. The ensemble is rolling on
an appropriate set of 15" chrome Cragar wheels that are wrapped in
Mickey Thompson performance radials. Truly impressive!
INTERIOR: Totally restored! Period correct upholstery was used to
faithfully recreate a factory original look, and I absolutely love
it. The door panels were also redone with matching fabric. The door
handles, levers, and all remaining interior trim are all nice and
shiny. The floor mounted chrome Hurst 4 speed manual shifter is a
very nice upgrade. The builder also added a triple gauge and
vintage looking Moon tachometer to monitor the vitals. The entire
dash area was magnificently restored and repainted. It has an
upgraded digital stereo and extra speakers added to the rear shelf.
The aftermarket steering column now has a tilt option and a chrome
wheel. The emergency brake handle was even chrome plated and the
pedals were replaced. Other new items include the carpeting,
headliner, sun visors, and rear view mirror. Inside the jambs are
nicely painted red just like the body, and the weatherstrips were
replaced.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Lots of chrome! The Chevy 350 V8 is topped off
with a big Holley carburetor and polished Weiand intake manifold.
Many other parts have been polished or chromed including the air
cleaner, valve covers, alternator, timing chain cover, water pump,
power steering pump, brackets, pulleys, clutch fan, radiator core
support, horns, air box and blower, wiper motor, hood hinges, hood
supports, and latch mechanism. The Harrison radiator keeps
everything cool. The battery is properly secured and the horns are
hooked up. All the belts and hoses were replaced. The brake system
has fresh steel lines and the steering gear box was upgraded. The
underside of the hood, fenderwells, and firewall are all painted
red just like the body.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Complete and proper! The underside of the trunk
lid and jamb are painted slick just like the body. The weatherstrip
was replaced. The latch mechanism was chrome plated. Inside is
equipped with a full size spare tire, jack assembly, lug wrench,
and trunk mat. Under the mat is spotless steel that is painted
black like the exterior.
UNDERSIDE: Complete body off frame restoration! There's almost as
much chrome under the car as there is on top of the car! The
steering and suspension was completely rebuilt. The control arms,
and steering components are all chrome plated. The shocks are
painted red, with air shocks out back. It has a custom polished
stainless steel fuel tank. The dual exhaust has polished stainless
mufflers and tips. The brake system was redone and upgraded with
disc in front. The calipers are painted red and the e-brake is
hooked up. Looking up at the engine you will see a shiny chrome oil
pan and flywheel cover. The T10 4-speed manual transmission is
painted red and the linkage looks fresh. The chrome driveshaft
leads back to a chromed rear end. Even the rear leaf springs are
chrome plated! The floors are all smooth metal painted semi gloss
black. The frame was also nicely prepped and painted. Thoroughly
restored!
