Customized 38 Dodge Pickup Truck
Originally from Florida, this truck was purchased in 2014 from Country Classis Cars in Illinois. It was drive able but not street legal. Had initial engine, transmission, exhaust system, rear end and other mechanical work done at Posies in Hummelstown, PA to get it street legal. In 2016, I took it to Ed Hines Auto Body in Cleona, PA for a frame off restoration, custom paint job and additions such as: air conditioning, power windows, driver side windshield wiper, seat belts, tow hitch, custom engine hood, custom wood bed and remote control access to battery under the bed. Last major work done was installing custom headliner, upholstery and carpeting by Mike Reigle Upholstery in Cleona, PA.
Chassis – 1973 to 1978 - 1500 Chevy truck.
Engine – Chevy 350 short block from a 1972 Camaro
Carburetor – 4 barrel Edelbrock
Transmission – TH 350 rebuilt by Deltrans Inc in Del.
Rear end – 9”non posi Ford rear with 370 gears from Johns 9”rears in Mi.
Brakes – Rear brakes are 10” drums by 1 ¾ shoes / Front disc brakes are 1973 to 1978 Chevy truck.
Exhaust – Stock manifolds dual exhaust out the back with Flowmaster Hushpower mufflers.
Wheels – At this time Aluminum mags 15x7 front and back.
Tires – P215/75/R15
Radiator – Walker Z series with ac condenser from Walker Radiator in TN.
Door Windows – Specialty Power Windows in GA.
