Survivor Classic Car Services Chicago is proud to present this
smooth 1968 Pontiac Bonneville convertible. Under the hood sits a
period-correct 428 cubic inch V8 (stamping code YH, engine block
casting number 9792968) paired with a 3-speed automatic
transmission. The 7l V8 breathes in through a newer Holley 4bbl
carburetor and exhales through a pair of chambered mufflers
arranged in a true-dual exhaust system. This massive cast-iron
powerplant has plenty of torque to move this full-size drop top
easily down the road, and the suspension eagerly flattens the bumps
for your enjoyment.
The power top goes up and down effortlessly and quickly. The power
4-wheel drum brakes safely and smoothly slow this land yacht to a
halt with no drama. The power steering makes navigating a breeze!
With a bench seat front and rear, you can drive the whole family,
or your whole crew of friends in style anywhere you go. This
Bonneville was transported from California only a few years ago,
and has never seen a winter on the road. The underside is as clan
as they come! There appears to have been no metal work, no body
filler, and no accident repairs anywhere on the vehicle. This is an
absolute cream puff!
