after a gentle cleaning. The rest are before cleaning. I think it
would clean up further with pressure washing and the right
cleaner.
This 1978 Ford F150 Ranger Explorer has cool features everywhere
you look! The outside speaks for itself with original Midnight Jade
paint with factory yellow stripes that have the perfect patina.
That patina has been protected with a clear coat that will allow
you to enjoy this look for years to come. Topping that off is the
Explorer hood emblem, and Ford dealer installed Leer camper shell.
Talk about a time capsule of a pickup truck! I can just imagine my
grandpa driving this in the late 70s and being the envy of his
friends.
Under the hood is a rebuilt 351 CID V8 engine paired to a 3-speed
automatic transmission. This truck takes it a step further with
power steering, power brakes, and working A/C!
Every exterior light, and all gauges on this truck work, along with
the wipers, horn, radio, and A/C as mentioned before. It is ready
to get in and drive! The interior features a Dark Green theme as
well with new carpet recently installed. The factory bench seat is
in very good shape and has a cover on it to protect it, while still
matching the green theme. The gauges are clear and easy to read and
the truck features two-tone door panels, and a headliner. Faux
woodgrain on the glovebox door adds a touch of class to the
cab.
Under that topper the bed has a professional spray-in bedliner that
has been color matched making the bed usable without fear of
damage. If the camper shell isn't your style, it is easily removed
as it is clamped on, so no holes have been drilled in the bedsides.
These toppers can be sold for $300 - $600 if you'd rather have the
bed open.
This Dentside Ford patina shop truck fires right up and runs out
great! With power steering, power brakes, A/C, and an automatic
transmission it is easy for anyone to enjoy. A Marti Report has
been ordered as well and will be posted once received. Recent work
includes: remanufactured engine block with 3-year warranty (8/23),
plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, heater hoses, clamps, fuel
line, fuel filter, PCV valve, carburetor, power steering gearbox,
A/C compressor, R134 conversion, blower motor, heater cable, heater
core, brake pads, brake hoses, ignition switch, lock cylinder, gas
tank, gas tank filler hose, exhaust manifolds, oil pressure switch,
starter solenoid, battery, A/C compressor bracket, and tensioner
pulley. These receipts add up to around $8,000 from the end of
2023.
