This 1967 Pontiac GTO is a beautifully restored example of classic
American muscle, finished in a refined Champagne Poly exterior that
contrasts perfectly with its sleek black interior. It sits
confidently on chrome Pontiac Rally wheels, giving it a timeless
and aggressive stance. The interior is enhanced with a custom
steering wheel and a Hurst shifter, adding a performance-focused
touch to the driver experience. Under the hood lies a powerful 421
V8 engine fitted with 670 cylinder heads and a new, numbers-correct
1966 Tri-Power carburetor setup-delivering both era-authentic
performance and throaty muscle car sound. A rebuilt front end, new
front brakes, and rear air shocks contribute to the car's
roadworthiness and handling, while a 400 Turbo transmission ensures
smooth, reliable shifting.
The Pontiac GTO is often credited with launching the muscle car
era. Introduced in 1964 as a high-performance option for the
Tempest, the GTO quickly gained a reputation for power, style, and
street credibility. By 1967, it had become its own model and was
equipped with more refined features and increased performance. The
1967 model year marked the end of the first generation, featuring
updated styling and a stronger focus on safety and drivability.
With its bold design and raw power, the GTO earned the nickname
"The Goat" and became a legend in automotive history, forever
influencing the direction of American performance cars.
