1969 Mercury Marauder X -100 The Marauder X-100 in 1969 was powered
by a 429 CI displacement with a compression ratio of 10.5:1 and
brake horsepower was 360 at 4600 RPMs with a four-barrel
carburetor. The engine code was N. The X-100 also featured fender
skirts, leather and vinyl interior, rim blow steering wheel,
electric clock, and styled aluminum wheels. The Marauder had a
unique sculptured section with five short horizontal chrome pieces
just behind the doors. The six tail and two back up lights were
embedded in the rear deck panel. The example here is best described
as a time capsule. The condition of the Marauder inside and out,
top to bottom, is amazing. Appears to be original in every respect
with the exception of a repaint applied professionally in the
original Medium Lime Poly color. Numbers matching and turnkey
condition meaning everything is functioning operating as it should.
This is one rare Merc. We hadnt seen one of these for years, with
only 5635 produced in 1969 youd be hard pressed to find one nicer.
Power steering, power brakes, cold air conditioning, power windows,
rear window defrost, factory AM/FM stereo, drivers remote mirror,
hideaway headlights, 50-50 split front seat in leather and vinyl
factory style wheels, and whiteside wall tires and more. Also
included is the owners manual, showroom brochures, and the shop
manual.
