Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 26th year in the
classic and muscle car business. O.K. Mopar lovers, here's some
very rare red meat for your Pentastar dining pleasure. Chrysler's
300 letter series cars (1955-1965) were high performance personal
luxury cars initially derived from the New Yorker. Built to
homologate their new Hemi engine for NASCAR in 1955, the 300 was
the most powerful car in America for several years. By the time
this stunning 1961 Chrysler 300G appeared, Chrysler's Advanced
Styling Group was under Virgil Exner's influence and fins were in!
Lift the expansive hood and you'll see one of the wildest-looking
engines that ever tuned a tire, the 413 Cross-Ram. Two 4 bbl
carburetors sit at the end of awesome red 30 tuned manifold pipes
for added mid-range power. Additional features include power
steering, power brakes, power windows, power driver's seat (front
seats also swivel!), A727 automatic transmission with push-button
shift, full length front and rear consoles, fantastic Art Deco
AstraDome instrument cluster, AM radio, and wide whitewall tires
(235/75R15) wrapped around steel wheels with correct covers.
Features such as a unibody, torsion bar front suspension, and
all-bucket seat interior amazed press and public alike. This
freeway flyer (and it DOES fly) is right from front to back and top
to bottom, an amazing feat considering only 1280 3000G coupes were
built in 1961 and far fewer survive. One more top-shelf investment
grade jewel from the Texas Hill Country's premier source for rare
classics and the team that can make your dream a reality. Street
Dreams (830-997-1950) is a full service dealership that can assist
with worldwide delivery, insurance, and financing options.
