Vehicle Description
There is something about a C3 Corvette that is just special. Its
long, undulating hood, unmistakable Coke bottle shape, and short,
windswept rear set it apart from not only every other Corvette
generation, but every other car ever made. This particular 1973
Chevrolet Corvette comes to us with a mere 6,133 (believed) actual
miles on its odometer. Fully repainted once in its original Elkhart
Green color, this C3 is a numbers-matching car, and is a
prestigious Bloomington Gold Winner, making it a very special car
indeed.
Pop off those nifty T-tops, and inside we find a correct stock
original black vinyl interior. Two big gauges sit front and center
of the driver, just beyond a power-assisted three-spoke (or
six-spoke, depending on how you're counting) steering wheel with a
7,000 rpm tach on the right and a 160 mph speedometer on the left.
A five-pod gauge cluster sits atop the center stack, while the AC
Delco AM/FM stereo handles the soundtrack. Though its compressor
will need servicing, this Corvette comes from the factory with air
conditioning as an option on its dial-based HVAC setup.
Underneath its signature front-hinged hood, we find a
numbers-matching 350 cubic-inch L48 V-8 engine. Topped with a
single four-barrel carburetor, this post-emissions small block made
an advertised 190 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque when it
rolled off the assembly line. Power is routed through a TH400
three-speed automatic transmission before heading out to
fifteen-inch Rallye wheels shod in 225/70R-15 Cooper Cobra
tires.

Riding on a spring, shock, and sway bar front suspension with a

set up to handle twists and turns almost as well as the
straightaways. Four-wheel power disc brakes rein in speed whenever
necessary. Along with its Bloomington Gold Survivor award, this
incredibly well-preserved C3 also sports a Top Flight award from
the NCRS as well as Triple Diamond and Concours Gold Certificates
from MCACN to go along with its reproduction build sheet and window

of us do, this is the car you've been waiting for. Don't wait
