1965 CHEVROLET CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE A/C, 4-SPEED TRANS, 365 HP!
This Vette has an excellent body, there's no signs of damage. It is
straight everywhere, the gaps are right on the money, doors close
like new. The headlights open and close like new. It wears its
original color Rally Red and is polished to a very smooth and
glossy finish. The jambs are painted slick and the weatherstrips
were replaced. The emblems, bowtie mirrors and trim look good. The
bumpers have bright chrome. It has the correct power antenna,
factory knock off wheels with white wall tires. The interior is in
a very clean and unabused condition. The door panels look great.
The dash pads are excellent, gauges look original and all work. It
has the correct 6500 redline tachometer for a 365 HP engine.
Original AM-FM radio. The console looks good and has the correct
reverse lockout shifter. The seats were reupholstered and have new
cushions. The white convertible top is in excellent shape and the
carpet is in great shape. Interior lights all work. It features a
genuine teakwood wheel which is a nice option. The engine
compartment boasts a very potent 327 ci engine cranking out 365hp.
In addition to the internal features in a 365 hp motor visually it
has a Winters aluminum intake, Holley carburetor and finned valve
covers. Everything looks correct including the carb, choke tube,
fuel filter, exhaust manifolds, ignition shielding, etc. The
numbers on the pad match, casting codes and dates are correct. All
the components look correct: brackets, pulleys, cooling system,
etc. A big feature is the air conditioning this car has which is
working and blows cold. This is a very desirable feature! The
underside is very clean and proper. It has front and rear
independent suspension and several of the parts look fresh. It is
the first year for disc brakes too, it has them at all 4 wheels. It
features the optional side pipes. The floors are still clean raw
fiberglass. Complete with spare tire carrier. Looking up at the
motor it has the correct starter and canister type oil filter. It
has a correct Muncie 4-speed manual transmission. Air conditioning
in a convertible is very desirable. Mated to a 365 hp motor with a
4-speed really makes it special not to mention A BLAST TO DRIVE!!!
