Factory records show GMC origins, yet this 1985 GMC C1500 received
a complete Chevrolet Silverado transformation during its lifetime.
Midnight Blue Metallic paint covers the body with a cowl hood
adding aggressive styling to the front end. Polished Torq Thrust
wheels mounted on 15" rims wear P275/60R15 tires at all four
corners. The short bed configuration maintains classic proportions
while dual exhaust pipes exit beneath the rear bumper.
Lodi Blue interior materials create a coordinated cabin environment
with bench seating and column-mounted shifter. Cloth and vinyl
upholstery covers the seats while matching door panels complete the
factory color scheme. A Kenwood stereo head unit handles audio
duties alongside the original AM/FM radio setup. Air conditioning
keeps the cabin comfortable while power steering assists with
maneuvering. An aftermarket steering wheel replaces the original
unit.
A 396 cubic inch V8 connects to the Holley Sniper electronic fuel
injection system and Edelbrock intake manifold. The TH350
three-speed automatic transmission transfers power to the rear
wheels through a 10-bolt rear axle. Power disc brakes handle
stopping duties up front while coil springs and shocks with a sway
bar control the front suspension. Leaf springs and shocks manage
the rear suspension with FlowMaster mufflers completing the dual
exhaust system.
