Description:
This 1955 Ford Fairlane Sunliner convertible was refurbished under
prior ownership and acquired by the selling dealer in 2025. The car
is powered by a 272ci V8 paired with a Ford-O-Matic three-speed
automatic transmission. It is finished in red over a red and white
interior, and equipment includes a power-operated white convertible
top, rear fender skirts, 15? wheels with whitewall tires, power
steering, and power-assisted brakes.
Interior:
The cabin features front and rear bench seats that were
reupholstered in red and white, complemented by a color-coordinated
dashboard and door panels. The two-spoke steering wheel frames a
120-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level and coolant
temperature.
Exterior:
The car left the factory finished in Regatta Blue and was repainted
in its current shade of red under prior ownership. Exterior details
include a replacement power-operated white convertible top, a
driver-side mirror, rear fender skirts, and chrome bumpers. The 15?
wheels are mounted with 7.10-15 Firestone wide-whitewall tires. The
car is equipped with power steering, and braking is provided by
power-assisted drums at each corner.
Drivetrain:
The 272ci V8 was factory equipped with a two-barrel carburetor and
was rated at 162 horsepower. Power is routed to the rear wheels
through a Ford-O-Matic three-speed automatic transmission.
