Zoom Classic Cars presents this 1931 Chevrolet 5 Window Street Rod
Coupe. Black on Black all steel car nicknamed "The Bandit"
featuring a rebuilt Chevy 350 4 Bolt main block bored .20 over rods
and main bearings, Jet Hot exhaust Headers, roller rocker, Weiand
671 Blower, 2 Holley 600 c.f.m Carbs, Walker Radiator, MSD Ignition
6AL box distributor and wire and Weiand hydraulic Street Cam
coupled with an automatic Turbo 350 Transmission with Chevelle rear
end with US gear POSI and 3:70 gear ratio. Front disc brakes and
drums in the rear. Flaming River Vega Steering box. Car has a 2000
RPM stall converter and Denny drive shaft and power gear reduction
starter motor. 6900 miles on the build that was completed in the
late 1990's. Paint is in overall excellent condition and is an
acrylic uncompounded lacquer to give a Flat Black appearance but
can be compounded for a shinier look. All the steel body panels
line up nicely and all the trim and chrome is in very good to
excellent condition. OBT Gear Headlights with integrated turn
signals and Juliano vinyl Roof Insert. Custom slotted sun visor.
Interior of the car is in excellent condition and features black
vinyl bench seating with seat belts, Stewart Warner Wing gauges
including dash mounted tachometer, under dash Edelbrock Air/Fuel
Ratio monitor, a master disconnect battery switch, electric
windshield wipers, Jensen AM/FM Cassette player, GM Tilt steering
with Grant steering wheel, Lokar floor shifter, rubber floor mats,
hot water heater and roll down rear window. All new window glass
all around. Car has a rumble seat without the cushions as the owner
was interested in having trunk space. Rumble seat has an electric
lock and can be converted back to a full Rumble Seat easily if
desired. Spacious carpeted trunk area with covered battery.
Undercarriage is very clean and in excellent condition and features
front and rear sway bars, 6 inch tube drop axle and a great
sounding dual exhaust with chrome tips exiting the rear of the car
just ender the 20 Gallon stainless steel gas tank. The car rides on
BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires - P195/R14s in the front and P255/R14s
in the rear all mounted on Custom Aluminum Anson slotted wheels in
excellent condition. Car has always been meticulously maintained
and garaged by the owner since built and runs, drives and handles
very well. Only minor issue with the car is that the Tach is not
working properly and needs attention. Car is stored in western MA
and comes with clean MA title in the owner's name, documentation,
maintenance and build receipts, fire extinguisher, battery tender
and extra parts including the stock GM distributor and 2nd set of
