Here’s a great example of what a showroom condition vehicle looks like. This 1989 Jaguar XJS V12 in Signal Red was originally purchased in September of 1988 at Bellevue Jaguar in Washington State. The original doctor owner actually loved his Jags and had 3 others. The current Montana owners purchased the vehicle 18yrs ago in 2007 and have continued to take very great care of this UK classic. It’s been a trouble-free beauty for them other than having to replace the transmission mount over nearly 20 years. There is just 52,282 original miles and nearly looks like it did off the showroom floor. The V12 engine is such a pleasure to drive and how it handles rough roads and the turns is unlike any other car I’ve driven.
The leather interior smells so good and in true Jaguar fashion it is fully loaded. Power windows, mirrors, steering, brakes, heated leather passenger and driver seats, air conditioning, original Jaguar cell phone, radar detector, tape head unit with CD changer in the trunk and every gauge, light and function of this vehicle is in working condition. The owner’s manual and cassette tape in it’s special box are present. They also just installed brand new tires so it’s ready for a road trip.
It is rare to come across such a clean and well cared for classic like this that you’d never guess is 36yrs old.
