I am the third owner of this Pontiac Catalina Convertible. 1961 was the first year Pontiac put a convertible top on a Catalina. There are not many good ones out there.
This Catalina has a 4 barrel 389 ci V8 engine, 335 HP. Engine was rebuilt in 2002 by the original owner and garaged shortly after. Second owner only had the vehicle for approximately 3 years and I have had this vehicle for the past 3 years. I drive the Catalina around town and put approximately 2000 miles a year on the vehicle. It runs great and have not had any problems.
Power Steering and Drum Brakes.
AM Radio.
Exterior Color is White with Red and White Interior. Interior has recently been updated. Top is in good condition, but not perfect. Mechanically it has new motor and pistons for top. Red boot was made when we did the interior but doesn't fit to my satisfaction. Should be looked at readjusted.
Chrome mirror on drivers side is adjustable from dash board.
14-inch tires that have less than 2000 mile. Odometer reads 99,358 miles and second owner purchased it from the original owner and this was relayed to him. I am the third owner and the car has been garaged it's entire life. Body is in excellent condition. I enjoy driving it and receive many compliments from other drivers on the road.
At 78 years of age I find myself driving my cars less each year and am starting to sell them off. Also have a 54 Ford for sale. I think the 30 Ford will be the next to go. Car has clean title and selling by owner.
