Production Notes: K100 RT Model made from 1982 - 1992, first “generation” 1982-1985. Featured fixed head-lamp assembly, instrumentation with tachometer. Optional Full Touring fairing includes BMW hard bags, standard equipment was half fairing, single seat and stainless muffler.
Comments: This bike appears to have been purchased from The Motorcycle Shop in Anchorage, AK, still has it’s original TEMP LIC (AK Dealers). Termed as “the Flying Brick,” the K100 was BMW’s response to the 4-cylinder bikes coming out of Japan. Part of collection of rare and special interest bikes, parked indoors, same ownership for many years, appears to be original low miles.
