This is a very rare example of a Vanagon camper that is almost all original. The history indicates the vehicle
spent much of its life in areas known for very harsh environments, but the photos clearly show there is little to no
rust on the body. Thus, while the exact mileage is unknown, it most likely does not have high mileage. This
vehicle is a perfect restoration candidate—worthy of a full restoration.
Vehicle History
This three-owner van is originally from Ohio, where it resided for 22 years before being relocated to California in
2011. Its residency in California was short lived as it changed hands again in 2011, being relocated to Nebraska
and then to its current destination in Washington state.
Not much is known about the early history of the van, but since 2001 it has been kept garage-covered.
Condition
This van is in mostly original condition with no known major repairs or upgrades. The exterior is in very good
condition with no dents. There are some chips to the paint that will need to be addressed.
The interior is very clean with only minor wear consistent with age.
The stove and sink are in excellent working condition. Currently the refrigerator is non-operational. The pop-top
tent is very clear with no stains or tears.
Overall in very good, near original shape.
