Offered for sale is our Land Rover Defender 110, Project "Nessie" a Land Rover Defender 110 that has received a very extensive and thorough restoration. This Land Rover Defender received a frame off restoration, which I will outline down below in detail.
The frame was sandblasted and powder coated. This is to ensure a very long lasting life of the frame of the vehicle, and to mitigate any present rust issues. This brings the frame to virtually new condition. At this time, brand new suspension was ordered for the Defender, and the suspension was replaced with new suspension to ensure a higher quality ride, and better daily drivability. The engine was completely rebuilt to factory specifications as well, fitted with new injectors, valves, cylinder head, pistons, seals, turbocharger, cooling system, and more! The engine has about 200 miles of test driving on it. The transmission was also fully serviced at this point as well.
The steering components and braking components at this point were also all replaced too. The body was reassembled using brand new body panels to ensure a high quality paintjob on a clean slate. The doors were replaced, the hood was upgraded to a more modern hood, the Puma style hood. The rear windows were swapped with Panoramic windows, and wide body arches were fitted with a roll cage. The body panels were all painted separately in pieces, in British Racing Green Metallic.
The interior was then fitted with sound deadening material with caramel brown leather interior. We fitted the interior with modern creature comforts such as air conditioning, bluetooth audio, back up camera, power windows, power locks, and more!
The truck is currently located in New Jersey and comes with a clean New Jersey title.
