8” Corvette Posi geared 3:07 ratio rear end. 3 Spd Automatic with custom pedals and gear shifter. 12 volt electrical system with functioning gauges and lights. Chrome bumpers, headlights and grill - all in great condition.
History: Vehicle was purchased by current owner in 1998 in Santa Clara. Originally Model B, was 1 off 20,506 made and cost $575 new. It was originally built with the Flathead V8 engine introduced in April 2, 1932, along with 18” tires and a 4:11 rear-end ration with the infamous mechanical brakes. At one point in it’s life prior to the restoration, it was drag raced at Fremont Raceway/Baylands Raceway. The top was chopped 3 1/2” in Los Gatos, CA in 1966 and it became a “hot rod”. Vehicle was restored to it’s current condition and delivered to Nevada City in 2000 where it has remained the last 17 years. Front end was changed to a 3” dropped axle with disc brakes. The soft top opening was filled in during restoration on this all steel original body.
