Will provide more pictures and videos for serious buyers This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was purchased by its first owner from McClinton Chevrolet in Parkersburg, West Virginia, in 1963 and was fitted with a replacement fuel-injected 327ci V8 the following year. The car was driven through 1968, at which time it is said to have been placed in the owner’s garage, where it would remain until the selling dealer’s acquisition in 2024. Subsequent work involved overhauling the fuel injection system and replacing the battery along with the fuel tank, pump, and lines. Specified from the factory with a four-speed manual transmission and a 4.11 Positraction differential, the red-on-red convertible was also equipped with a white soft top, a body-color hardtop, metallic brakes, 15″ wheels, and an AM/FM radio. This C2 convertible is now offered with a window sticker, the original sales invoice, manufacturer’s literature, and a clean Ohio title.
The body left the factory finished in Riverside Red (923) and is equipped with a white soft top as well as a body-color removable hardtop. Paint blemishes on the front of the car are noted.
The car was outfitted from the factory with a fuel-injected 327ci L84 V8, and the selling dealer tells us a replacement engine was installed by Chevrolet in 1964. Work performed in 2024 following nearly six decades of the car being off the road involved rebuilding the fuel injection system and replacing the fuel tank, pump, and lines in addition to the battery.
