Melanson Motors is proud to offer this 1971 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. This nut and bolt restored example is GM of Canada Documented and was sold new at Alex Irvine Motors in Scarborough, Ontario. It contains its numbers matching 350 engine. The engine is tastefully upgraded with Holley Sniper fuel injection, an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, and headers. The exhaust is a 3" system and sounds great! The transmission is a 3 speed automatic TH350 with a Summit aluminum pan. The rear end is a 10 bolt positraction. This Chevrolet has power disc brakes and power steering. This Camaro is rotisserie restored and is beautiful inside, out and underneath. Originally a Lime Green car, this Z28 was painted Orange at the time of restoration. The Bright Orange paint is polished to a show quality finish. The white stripes are painted. The body is very straight and the gaps are good. All the glass is in great shape. The bumpers are brand new and the stainless trim is in excellent shape. Underneath, this Chevrolet looks showroom new. The floors and frame are neatly painted black. All suspension and brake components are new. A brand new gas tank is also installed. This car has a tidy original style deluxe interior with wood grain accents. It was optioned with a Deluxe interior, center console, staple shifter, and U14 gauges which include a 150mph speedo, tachometer and clock. The dash and gauge cluster are original style and everything works as it should. An aftermarket Classic Auto Sound AM/FM radio is mounted neatly in place of the original AM radio. This Z28 rides on 15" original style Rally wheels. The tires are brand new Coker Classic Reproduction Firestone Wide Ovals. This Camaro starts and runs smoothly. It drives well and is comfortable.
