Solara SLE convertible. If you're looking for a fully loaded
convertible that looks great and won't break the bank, then you
just found it with this 2008 Solara! This was the last and best
year of the Solara convertible and this is a fine example that's
ready for some top-down fun right now. This car comes to us dressed
in its original Super Red V paint - an eye-catching bright red. The
paint is in driver quality condition with some small imperfections
inherent with regular use and a few touch-ups. Up front you'll find
bright hood lip molding that sits above a cross-hatch grille with a
gleaming Toyota logo at the center. The red paint graces the whole
body of the car, including the front and rear fascia with
integrated bumpers and both the dual side mirrors and door handles.
Adding contrast to all of the red is black window trim and a black
canvas power convertible top. The top is in good condition with no
rips or tears, it features a glass back window with rear defogger,
and it operates quickly and easily. At the rear of the car you'll
find a decklid spoiler, bright badging, and a single chrome exhaust
tip peeking out from below. This Solara rolls down the road on
factory grey aluminum 5-spoke wheels all wrapped in brand new
Uniroyal Tiger Paw Touring tires.
Under the hood is an exceedingly clean and stock engine bay that is
home to a 3.3 liter V-6 that was factory rated at 210hp - plenty of
power for an exhilerating driving experience. This engine offers
Toyota's VVT-i technology and it is mated up to a 5-speed automatic
transmission that shifts smoothly through the gears. Other
highlights under the hood include power steering and factory A/C.
Stopping power is provided by 4-wheel power disc brakes.
Swing open the drivers door to reveal a very attractive grey
interior with some upscale woodgrain touches. The grey factory door
panels are both in good condition and they offer controls for power
windows and locks. Up front are grey leather bucket seats with a
contoured bench seat for two in the rear. Both front buckets are
heated and the drivers seat boasts power adjustable controls. The
drivers seat does show some light bolster wear, but aside from that
small demerit, all of the seats are in very good condition with no
stains, rips, or tears. Between the bucket seats is a center
console with an armrest/storage box, cupholders, and e-brake lever,
and a leather-wrapped shifter for the automatic transmission. Ahead
of the shifter where the console meets the dash there is a
compartment with a flip-up door that has an AUX input and a 12V
power source. Ahead of the driver is a leather-wrapped steering
wheel with touch controls for the stereo and Bluetooth. The wheel
is on a tilt and telescopic column that also offers a stalk for
cruise controls, a stalk for wipers, and a double-duty stalk for
blinkers and lights. The steering wheel frames a backlit gauge
cluster with a tachometer, 150mph speedometer, and gauges for fuel
and temp - all with cool illuminated white needle sweeps. The
odometer reads 116,509 and the title claims actual mileage. Atop
the center of the dash are 3 raised pods with digital readings for
MPG, time, and outside temperature. Below is a nice sounding
factory Toyota stereo with AM,FM, CD, Bluetooth, and Aux. Beneath
the stereo are HVAC controls with a digital automatic temperature
setting, cold A/C, and hot heat. Other amenities on the dash
include power mirror controls, a traction control button, heated
seat buttons, and controls for the power convertible top. Ahead of
the passenger is a glovebox with the original owners manuals for
the car. Underfoot is grey factory carpet kept nice with light grey
carpeted floormats. On the floor to the drivers left are poppers
for the trunk and the gas fill door. Overhead are map lights and an
auto-dimming rear-view mirror with digital compass. Around back is
a fully carpeted trunk with a logo mat and a cargo net.
