1967 Pontiac Firebird 400 For SaleThis 1967 Pontiac Firebird
Convertible blends timeless styling with tasteful upgrades and a
solid foundation. Restored approximately 25 years ago, it has since
received a variety of mechanical and cosmetic improvements that
make it a standout cruiser with a reliable powertrain.
Under the hood sits a 1972 Pontiac 400 V8, rebuilt with flat-top
pistons, larger heads, a mild camshaft, and an Edelbrock intake and
carburetor. A stainless exhaust system delivers a deep, refined
tone, while the automatic transmission ensures smooth power
delivery for comfortable cruising.
Originally equipped with drum brakes all around, the car has been
upgraded with front disc brakes (measuring 10/32) while the rear
drums (5/32) were refreshed with new pads. The 3.08 rear gearing
strikes a nice balance between highway cruising and low-end
torque.
The convertible manual top was recently replaced, and the car also
benefits from new carpet and padding, a new steering wheel, and new
tires mounted on freshly repainted rims. The result is a Firebird
that remains true to its original character but feels tighter, more
capable, and visually refreshedready for weekend drives or local
shows.See the "videos" tab above this description box for a cold
start and walk around.
