This 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD LT is a completely rust-free
LBZ Duramax that's been tastefully built for performance, presence,
and reliability. Since being purchased in Florida in 2021, the
truck has been garage-kept in climate-controlled storage, driven
only in summer, and never exposed to winter road conditions. The
build was completed over a six-month period and the truck has seen
limited, fair-weather miles since.
Under the hood is a tuned and deleted 6.6L LBZ Duramax diesel,
featuring a Stage 2 64mm turbo, EFI Live tuning, and a 5-position
switch. It also has a FASS Titanium 164GPH lift pump, factory fuel
filter delete, and a 3-inch downpipe feeding into a 5-inch straight
pipe exhaust, providing serious performance and an aggressive tone.
Supporting upgrades include all new gaskets, coolant hoses, and
turbo lines, with resealed valve covers done during the turbo
swap.
The truck rides on a 6-inch Fabtech lift with custom powder-coated
components, new Bilstein shocks, and Kryptonite front-end upgrades,
including the center link, tie rods, and wheel bearings. It sits on
22" American Force wheels wrapped in 37" Toyo Open Country M/Ts
with under 2,000 miles on the set(measure 17/32). LED rock lights
(16 BAMF units) and 8-row wheel lights from North Georgia Lighting
are tied to a switch in the cab for added night-time flair.
Cosmetically, it was repainted less than two years ago and features
a welded rear roll pan, new front bumper with paint-matched
plastics, and Boost Auto mirrors that were disassembled and
paint-matched with switchbacks and heat functionality. The
driveshaft and wheel interiors have been polished, and a brand-new
tonneau cover finishes off the bed.
The interior remains well-preserved thanks to indoor storage and
limited use, featuring a Kenwood Excelon head unit, Rockford
Fosgate speakers with external tweeters, and two newer batteries
for consistent power delivery.
