restoration using new and restored parts, this is a steel body
Jeep. Under the hood, a rebuilt AMC 304 cubic inch V8 engine, bored
30 over, paired with a T15 3-speed manual transmission, and
enhanced with modern upgrades such as power steering and a Dana 30
front axle with a Dana 44 rear axle. On the exterior, fresh orange
paint, modern high-intensity discharge (HID) halo headlights, LED
taillights, polished wheels with 15 inch Uni Royal Radial tires,
and a new biminy top. The restoration also includes a custom stereo
system with a subwoofer, Rhino-coated flooring, new gauges, and a
fresh wiring harness courtesy of Painless Wiring. Inside are black
vinyl bucket seats, and a rear bench, and a tilt steering column.
Mechanically, the Jeep is sound, with a new radiator, Edelbrock
aluminum intake manifold, Edelbrock 500 CFM carburetor, Isky mild
camshaft, Magnaflow dual exhaust system, and updated brake
components including new wheel cylinders and proportioning valve.
The engine bay is just as clean as the great looking paintjob. The
odometer shows 680 miles, likely reflecting mileage since
restoration. On the road smooth clutch operation, responsive easy
to use power steering, and a pleasant exhaust note, enhance the
open-air driving experience.
