Classic pickups have always had a following but in recent years the
trucks of the 60's, 70's, and 80's have really grown in popularity.
Fords have their fans but the Chevy C10s have really been the
focus. The C10 was introduced in 1960 and included both the "Action
Line" series and the "Rounded Line (Square Body)" series. This cool
'69 belongs to the 2nd generation and the "C" in C10 denotes it as
a 2 wheel drive model. A lot of the mechanical components for this
gen was carried over from the previous but the bodies were largely
redesigned to improve their capability of being multi purpose
vehicles. The body is very solid and rust free. It is painted in a
bright Red paint with custom pinstriping accents throughout which
are a very cool touch. It has a nice chrome bumper up front and in
back has a custom roll pan. The grill on the nose have been painted
to match the body. The glass is all in great shape and is tinted.
All of the lights work properly and it has aftermarket HID
headlights up front. The bed is in great shape and is wood with
stainless strips. The truck has a great stance and rides on a set
of 17 inch American Racing Torque Thrusts with Nitto Extreme
Performance tires.
The truck runs great and is powered by a small block Chevy 350 V8
motor. It has been fitted with an Edelbrock intake, Edelbrock 4
barrel carburetor, MSD ignition, Blacked out finned valve covers,
and a matching finned air cleaner. The motor runs cool with an
added aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. With power
steering, power brakes (front discs), and the Old Air AC system
this is a super nice classic to cruise around in. Paired up with
the motor is a 700R4 overdrive transmission and a 12 bolt rear end.
The truck has a nice sound through the custom dual exhaust with
Flowmaster mufflers that dumps right at the rear.
The interior is in great shape and continues to follow the Black
and Red color scheme. The upholstery all looks good and it has
custom embroidered "C10" on the headrests and Chevy bowties in the
seat back. The seat itself is comfortable and is a 60/40 split seat
out of a 90's era Chevrolet. The dash is nicely painted Red and is
topped off with a Black dash pad. You will also note more custom
pinstriping on the glove box door. It features its original style
gauges but also has an added Equus tachometer. A tilt column sits
in front of the driver and has been fitted with a Forever Sharp
woodgrain steering wheel. Other nice features include the
aftermarket AM/FM/CD/Aux stereo system that features an amp under
the seat and sounds great.
All around this is a really neat C10 that has a great look and a
lot of nice features.
It could be in your garage for $44,850.00!
