You are looking at a fantastic driver quality 1968 Camaro RS! This
car has a nice solid body with a sweet Tuxedo Black paint job
accented by white racing stripes. It is as rare as it is beautiful
with only 18% of Camaros produced in 68 being fortunate enough to
adorn the RS Package! Hide Away headlights, rally wheels wrapped in
BFG Radial TA tires and a louvered SS Hood complete the classic
look.
The exterior is accented nicely by a clean black vinyl interior
complete with correct RS steering wheel, bucket seats, a new Hurst
shifter, and auxiliarygauges monitoring the fuel level, water temp,
oil pressure, and voltage. The dash looks new and is in great
condition with no sun cracks or defects.
Turn the key and you will hear that 396CI Big Block V8 roar to
life! It sounds fantastic through dual exhaust. Shifting is done
through a Muncie 4 speed manual transmission complete with a Hurst
shifter and all that power is put to the pavement thanks to the 12
bolt rear end. Power front disc brakes bring all that iron to a
stop with ease. Best of all the recent service included a new
timing chain kit and a new clutch!
