Barton 528 Hemi | Viper T56 6 Speed | Wilwood Disc Brakes |

The 1964 Dodge D-100 joined the Cherry Bomb family when we spotted
this rod in a barn down in Georgia for just $300. After cleaning
out all the dirt and nests we knew we could turn this truck into
the ultimate hot rod. We dropped a Mopar 528 Hemi 650 hp engine
with a Tremec T-56 Viper transmission. The drivetrain was installed
by Matt Delaney of Delaney Automotive and a vintage Cherry Bomb
patina style logo by Brian Papa Studios. Stacey David of Gearz
added a ladder bar style rear suspension, and added Radir and Coker
tires to give it a nice vintage look.
This wild custom build features a Ray Barton Mopar 528 HEMI
producing 650 HP, paired with a Tremec T-6060 6-speed Viper
transmission and ladder bar rear suspension (installed by Stacey
David on Gears). Performance highlights include, reverse Zoomie
headers, Cherry Bomb mufflers, Wilwood disc brakes, hemi cross ram
intake with dual Holley carbs, aluminum heads, and an aluminum
water pump. A slave cylinder handles clutch duty, and the truck
retains a stock alternator with custom air cleaners.
The frame is in excellent condition, featuring a boxed front end,
new wood bed floor, and a vintage Cherry Bomb patina-style logo
painted on the side. It rides on Raider rims, with 7""/10""/15""
whitewall tires up front and 10""/15"" wide white drag tires in the
rear for an aggressive stance.
Inside, you'll find , aftermarket gauges, and a tachometer to keep
tabs on that monster HEMI. This is a head-turning street beast with
serious muscle and character.
