Expertly modified and street-ready, a prime piece of American
craftsmanship awaits in this 1928 Ford Model A Pickup Streetrod.
Winter White paint covers the steel body, while fiberglass running
boards and fenders add durability and reduced weight. Fresh wood
planks fill the bed, complete with matching side rails and chrome
strips for a refined touch. Chrome-and-black-spoke Dayton
wheels-15" up front and 18" in back-roll on Cooper tires (195/55R15
front, 255/55R18 rear). Black vinyl roofing contrasts against the
crisp white exterior, creating a classic two-tone look that never
goes out of style.
Gray cloth bucket seats anchor the interior with comfort and
support for long drives. A floor-mounted Gennie shifter allows for
precise gear selection, and the custom steering wheel mounts to a
tilt column for optimal positioning. VDO gauges fill the machined
custom gauge cluster, with a Super Sun tachometer monitoring engine
RPM. An overhead console houses the Sony entertainment system with
AM/FM radio, CD player, auxiliary input, and Bluetooth
connectivity. Clever details include door release buttons under the
dash corners and outside under the front visor.
A 350 V8 engine sits at the core of this streetrod, featuring a
small performance cam for added muscle. Fuel flows through a
4-barrel Holley carburetor mounted on an Edelbrock intake manifold.
The 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission handles power distribution
to the Jaguar rear end with 3.50 gears. Tubular A-arms with
adjustable coil-overs and a sway bar control the front end, while
independent coil-overs manage the rear. Four-wheel power disc
brakes provide excellent stopping power. Dual exhaust with
long-tube headers and an electric cooling fan complete the
mechanical package.
