This 1929 Ford Model A Roadster is an older restoration that is
still in really nice condition. It runs and drives great and we
would consider this a nice driver quality Model A Roadster. When
restored they added spare tires on each side along with the trunk
carrier in the rear like you would see on the Deluxe Roadster. The
body is clean and straight and it is an all steel Model A. The
Bramble Brown and Black Paint still looks nice but it does have
some small scratches and chips touched up from over the years of
use. This Model A was driven every summer and was not a trailer
queen. The underside is clean and nice and all of the chrome and
stainless is nice on this car as well. The top is in great
condition and the car does come with side curtains too.
The interior is also really nice. The seats are in great condition
and the rubber mat, door panels, and dash are also in nice shape.
The headlights and taillights work. The brake lights also work.
There are no blinkers. The gauges are working and the horn also
works. This car did have a heat option and the flap in the firewall
is still there but the ductwork from the engine is not. It is just
your nice basic Model A interior.
Mechanically this Model A is great and it runs and drives down the
road very nice. The engine is the 3.3L 201 Inline 4 that starts
easy and runs great. The engine was rebuilt around 5 years ago
according to the last owner. The restoration of the car is older
than that but we are unsure how many years ago it was completed. It
has a 3 Speed manual transmission with a good clutch that shifts
nice. The rear axle is stock with 3.78 gears and it has a new set
of Firestone Whitewall Tires with 2 spares.
