used a paint depth gauge to confirm that the rest of the panels
remain in original condition. The finish still carries a deep
metallic shine and shows beautifully in person. There are some
small, minor touch-up spots throughout the body, which can be seen
in our detailed photos. The only notable flaw is a small blister
above the windshield. All glass is clear and chip-free, and the car
wears its original trim and body-colored bumpers with pride.
Aesthetic details like the NACA hood scoop, tape-style pinstriping
(removable if desired), and factory 14-inch six-spoke alloy wheels
round out the classic '80s sports car look. The factory rear wiper
assembly is included with the car but was removed for a cleaner
appearance.
Interior
Inside, the plush velour seats in blue and tan are in great
condition, showing only minor wear consistent with the car's age
and mileage. The dashboard is original and clean overall but does
have a visible crack, which is shown clearly in our photos. The
carpets and door panels are likewise in nice condition, and the
cabin features power windows and locks, cruise control, cold A/C,
and an updated aftermarket stereo system that blends well with the
factory appearance. The original AM/FM cassette unit was replaced
to provide more modern functionality. The sporty steering wheel,
clear gauges, and overall well-kept feel make it clear this Z was
loved and preserved. Everything inside the car works as it should,
including all power accessories and lighting.
Underhood and Body
Under the hood is the original 2.8L SOHC inline-six engine, which
runs beautifully and delivers smooth, confident power. The car is
equipped with power steering, four-wheel disc brakes, and factory
air conditioning. The transmission is a 5-speed manual that shifts
cleanly with a solid clutch feel. Recent mechanical updates include
newer suspension bushings, updated control arms, and a fresh
steering rack, giving the car tight and composed handling. The
underside is impressively clean and solid, showing evidence of
