Vehicle Description
Chassis No. WP0AC2A93RS263377
After producing one of the most highly anticipated and collectible
911 models in recent memory-the 2016 911 R-Porsche carried forward
the ethos of that purist icon into the development of the new
992-generation 911 GT3 Touring. Like its predecessors, the GT3
Touring was conceived for those who place a priority on dynamic
roadgoing performance and mechanical engagement over aerodynamic
efficiency to realize ten tenths level performance at the
racetrack. Porsche engineered the GT3 with extensive lightweight
materials, motorsport-derived aerodynamics, and a double-wishbone
front axle adapted from the 911 RSR to deliver uncompromising
handling.
At its core is a high-revving, naturally aspirated flat-six engine
shared with the GT3 Cup car, producing just over 500 horsepower
with razor-sharp throttle response. For those preferring subtlety
over spectacle, Porsche themselves describe the Touring Package
that removes the rear wing in favor of a more understated
appearance as "not instantly recognizable to everyone on the road,
but that is precisely what increases its puristic appeal." While
Porsche's lightning-quick PDK transmission remains available,
enthusiasts gravitated to the six-speed GT Sport manual
transmission-similar to the unit found in the 911 R-offered at no
additional cost, reinforcing the GT3 Touring's mission as a modern,
analog driver's machine.
It is to be expected that the combination of GT3 performance, a
six-speed manual, and subtle looks caused many to rush to the
dealership to place an order or change any existing one! With an
allocation in hand, nearly all inquired about the oversubscribed
Paint to Sample (PTS) option opening up a historical vault of 181
colors that included Yachting Blue Metallic as seen on this
example. Completed in September 2023 and delivered in early 2024 to
Porsche White Plains, this GT3 Touring not only boasts the $12,830
PTS option but the engaging six-speed GT Sport manual transmission
as well. Further factory fitted options include Front Axle Lift,
Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) with Calipers in Yellow, a
Carbon Fiber Roof, LED headlights in Black including Porsche
Dynamic Light System (PDLS), Chrono Package, BOSE Surround Sound
System, 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus, Illuminated Door-Sill
Guards in Black Brushed Aluminum, and more. Furthermore, the Black
leather interior with fabric seat centers features five separate
Z-options for Deviated Stitching in Racing Yellow. In fact,
according to the window sticker, just over $51,000 was spent on
additional extras pushing the MSRP to $237,680.00.
As a single owner example, the car has seen no less than four
service visits to Porsche White Plains, the most recent of which,
at 423 miles, included an inspection and 10,000-mile maintenance.
Today this well-optioned Paint to Sample GT3 Touring features under
500 miles and remains in near "as delivered" condition. Delivering
a rarely seen combination of engagement and usability, the
992-generation GT3 Touring has emerged as one of the most highly
praised 911s ever created and well-specified examples such as have
emerged as one of the most collectible modern Porsches.
