Classic Car Addict is excited to present this 1984 Ford Mustang
GT350 convertible for sale in our Mesa, Arizona showroom. This GT
is one of a reported 5,260 examples produced to celebrate the 20th
anniversary of the model and was purchased by the seller in 1991
from the original owner.
The articulated sport front seat and the rear bench are upholstered
in Canyon Red cloth, and the door panels are trimmed to match. A
serialized tag is attached to the dashboard, and additional
appointments include a factory AM/FM/cassette stereo, a premium
sound system, and a digital clock along with power windows and
locks, a carpeted dash pad, and R12 air conditioning. The
tilt-adjustable two-spoke steering wheel wears an aftermarket
cover, and it frames an 85-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer,
and gauges for amperage, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and
fuel level. Maximum performance gauges were added to the B-pillar
showing oil PSI and water temperature. The five-digit odometer
shows 63,836 miles.
All 20th Anniversary Edition cars were finished in Oxford White
(9L) with GT350 stripes and commemorative fender badges. This
convertible example features a white soft top and a red top boot as
well as black trim, fog lights, and dual polished exhaust outlets.
Vision tri-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with 205/65R15Blackhawk
Street-H tires, with 2024 DOT dates. The 20th Anniversary Edition
cars were equipped with revised suspension, a larger front sway
bar, and ta rear sway bar. The car is equipped with power steering,
and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear
drums.
The 5.0-liter HO V8 featured electronic fuel injection and a
sport-tuned exhaust for a rating of 165 horsepower when new. Power
is sent to the rear wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission
and a standard Traction-Lok limited-slip differential. The Carfax
report shows no accidents or damage reported.
